This is a pretty thorough informative article. I particularly agree with 8 & 9, as I always tell people never to force the muse!!! Words and ideas should come naturally and flow flawlessly. If you force an idea, or an article it just won’t have the same effect. It’s funny because at times, the combination of phrases, thoughts, experiences and others, have come together in one article even though I jotted them down separately.

Thanks for the information, it would have been nice if there was a round 20 points instead of 19. Another thing I find which you mentioned above is spelling. Some words are spelt differently in Europe and America. For example jewelry is the correct spelling in America and in Europe it is jewellery. With this example I often wonder which one I should use. My site is from Europe but I may be writing on an American site. If anybody has I view I would appreciate it. Thanks

Thank you for your comment, Aine. For me, it depends on the website audience/readership.
If your (potential) audience is mainly from US and or mixed International, I would suggest American English spelling.
If the majority of your (potential) audience comes from Britain/Commonwealth, I’d go for British English spelling.
In all other scenarios or if its unknown where your readers come from, I’d still go for American English just because the spelling is more common internationally.
