ANSWERS
How do I benefit from adding Linknami contextual link and content snippet code on my website?
After addding the code to your website and internal pages and setting your desired ad prices,
we provide several powerful tools for advertisers to find your pages and request advertising on them.
The more pages you add our code to, the more opportunities you have to sell links.
Can I control which links appear on my site?
Yes, you can choose to be emailed every time a new ad is sold so you can review and approve it or deny it from being published.
Alternatively, you can setup auto-approval if you want all ads to be automatically approved.
As publisher, do I have to review and approve all ad requests?
No, you can also set the system to auto-approve ad requests to save time.
However, as a publisher you have the ability to approve or decline any ad request you receive.
It is recommend to review and accept ad requests that align with your visitors,
but this is completely up to you, as the website owner.
What if an advertiser buys an HTML link on my website but then I decide I do not want their link in the content of my website? Can I cancel their HTML link?
Yes, you have full control on who advertises on your website. You can simply take any link down at any time.
Keep in mind, if you take a link down, that advertiser will not have to pay for any portion of that month that
their link was not live.
Will your service work on any type of website?
Yes, anyone with access to their website can add HTML links manually to their pages.
If you would like to offer content snippets and contextual links, currenlty we can support Wordpress or PHP based sites
(all sites which can execute PHP code, please check with your hosting provider if you can execute php on your hosting
account).
Do I have to install Linknami on the main page of my website?
You can install Linknami on any page you wish. Usually webmasters place the publisher code into templates
(also referred to as header and footer files),
so ads are shown on each page even though they don't have to edit each page of the website.
Can I run Linknami along with other ad systems I am currently running?
Yes, Linknami can be run along any contextually served product.
However we recommend that Linknami be the sole provider of static HTML text link advertisements,
as this will protect the value of the advertisements as well as give you the highest payout.
Can I combine Linknami with Google AdSense or any other ad broker?
Yes, you can combine Linknami with any other advertising sponsor. Our system is flexible and works well with other
advertising networks.
Can I use Linknami if my website has just few pages?
Yes, you can be a publisher with 1, 5 or 1 million pages.
Can I price the ads on my site?
Yes, this is also what distinguishes us from many other ad networs who calculate their own prices and force them
onto you. Here you have full control on how much you charge for advertisements on each page and each area on each page.
You can setup different fees for each page and section of page. Also you can set your own prices for
paid and sponsored articles.
What will happen if I raise the prices for HTML text links on my web site?
If you raise text link ad prices on your site, only advertisers that buy new text link ads will be charged the new amount.
Current advertisers can continue to renew at the same price for as long as the link they are buying on your site exists.
What if I am a Partner and my website loses connection due to my host?
The most important thing to do in a situation where your ads go offline, is to immediately contact us and let us
know what is going on. If we know, we can communicate the issue to the advertiser and will also not cancel anything
if we do a manual check. Communication is key, so just keep us updated if you experience downtime. If the downtime
goes beyond our threshold stated in our terms, we will have to refund the advertiser. We do our best to communicate
with them as well, so usually we can assure them the ads will be back shortly and all will be good.
When are payments sent out?
You can decide when and how much money to withdraw from your account balance and the withdrawal type at any time.
You are not limited to certain periods.
How can I receive my earnings?
Linknami offers PayPal, Check and Wire payments.
Do I have to earn a certain amount before I can withdraw?
You can withdraw any amount larger than US$ 10 at any time.
What is the revenue share of any ads sold and articles published?
We feature a 70/30 net revenue split for all ads sold. You receive 70% of all revenues generated.
This is one of the highest paying commission structure
in the industry. We handle serving, scheduling, billing, customer service, and sales.
What if I decide to change the content of my page and some paid HTML links get taken down?
We allow a maximum of 3 days down per HTML text link ad. If any ad does not meet this threshold,
you will not get paid for the ad. Advertisers that have “link up time” issues on a continual basis will be
suspended from the system. While we will allow occasional downtime issues, however, we expect our
publishers to make every effort to keep their advertisers HTML text links up 100% of the time.
Do I have to install any code on my site?
For the content snippets and contextual links tools you will just place a small piece of code on your pages.
For text link ads no code needs to be placed. You will place the links manually on your paged and blog
posts as usual.
I cannot get my publisher ad code to work, what do I do?

Then index your website and set prices for each page in the edit site profile section.
After this, just wait for advertising requests to roll in.
I would like to offer static text links, what do I do?
Signup, index your website (in the "My Pages" section) and set prices for each page in the edit site profile section.
After this, just wait for advertising requests to roll in.
My website uses static HTML, I can't execute PHP code there, can I still use your service?
Yes, first of all you can always publish text links ads even without code.
If you still want to offer contextual links and content snippets, you can try following solution:
If your website uses the Apache web server (as most Linux/UNIX hosting packages do), you can instruct the web server to treat .html (or .htm) files as PHP. To accomplish this, create a file named ".htaccess" in your root directory and add the following to it (or append it to the bottom of the file, if it already exists):
AddType application/x-httpd-php .html
(Note: if you use ".htm" files, replace the ".html" above with ".htm")
After completing this step, our PHP code should function on your site.
What is the difference between "No-Follow" and "Follow/Do-Follow" links and what are their advantages/disadvantages?
Follow or Dofollow links pass value on to the linked website while links with "NoFollow" tag
do not pass value on to the linked website.
Nofollow is a non-standard HTML attribute value used to instruct search engines that a hyperlink should
not influence the link target's ranking in the search engine's index. It is intended to reduce the effectiveness
of certain types of search engine spam, thereby improving the quality of search engine results and preventing
spamdexing from occurring in the first place. Nofollows are still be "clickable" and look as a natural link and
are great for direct, relevant traffic to your website.
After numerous requests and recent developments with major search engines we added this ability for both
Advertisers and Publishers to have nofollows on any links in a website with the Linknami system. This is in
addition to the standard "follow" links that Linknami provides in relevant content.
